When do you update & add new stuff?

I add new items to the site weekly. Since I am in the process of adding all of my inventory to the site, I may add items several times a week. Check back often!

Can I be contacted when you list new stuff?

All new items display on the main page of the site. I also have an RSS feed for all new items. To add us to your RSS feed reader, enter the following URL: http://oncebittenvintage.com/new

Is the color I see on my computer the same as the item?

Unfortunately, every computer monitor is different. I describe the clothing color and and fabric as best I can, so please use both the image and details to determine if you would like to purchase an item. I go to great lengths to ensure that my camera and lighting reliably represent an item, but I cannot guarantee that it will look the same. Most of the time it should look the same, however if the exact shade matters to you, please contact me for further details and photos. I will accept returns if an item has been grossly misrepresented, but an exact color shade does not qualify.

Can I request a particular kind of dress or item?

I am not taking requests at this time, however it never hurts to send me a request and then if I happen upon that item I may pick it up.

How do I search your site?

There are two main ways to search this site. The first, and recommended way, is to choice the category of clothing you are interested in and then scroll through those items using the image viewer. To limit items, click on a word in the tag cloud it will ADD this to your search and you will only see results that are in that category and have that tag. The second way is to use the search box at the upper right hand side of the web page. This will show results in the image viewer that include all of your terms. If you get no results change your search terms or use less search terms.

Do you clean the clothing?

Sometimes. It depends on the item. Most items are steam cleaned or washed in the delicate cycle with oxobrite (unscented) or hand-washed with petroleum-free (unscented) detergent. Items usually still maintain a vintage smell. Clothing is processed in a smoke-free environment and the items are located in a pet free building.

Are all items vintage?

All items are purchased by me and determined to be authentic period items. Each item is identified by decade. I have absolutely no reproductions.
