Once Bitten Vintage was started by me, Kathleen Packard, in 2006 to create an online store that only contains the rare amazing vintage finds that takes hours of scouring through thrift stores. My passion is to save the best clothing from the past century from the landfill, while helping support people's desire to have a unique style. I am a firm believer in promoting the sustainable clothing movement by being part of a combination of solutions. These include buying locally, organic, making or repurposing your own clothing, and buying used clothing. As one part of the solution, vintage clothing tends to have fabric and different cuts than people can buy new, and that just makes life more exciting! I have a mix of clothing that is mainly meant to wear, but also some collectible pieces to admire. Most of my items are priced to compete with mall stores, and are often constructed better and longer lasting.

Another major reason I created this store was that I wanted a there  to exist a website that made browsing for clothing online more like browsing for clothing in a store and was way more fun. It is my hope that you are able to scan items easily so you quickly find the style you love. One of my biggest frustrations searching for vintage clothing online is having to click through page after page just to see the images! I know in a few seconds if that is the type of vintage item I want, and I bet that is how you are to.
